Design plays a vital role in improving the companies’ competitive position and in that senses it helps strengthen the whole economy. Our mission is to promote the effective use of design throughout the Polish businesses and the public sector. We do this through broadly defined promotion of design and good practices among the Polish businesses. Design involves almost every sphere of our life. Our goal is to move this world closer not only to the people professionally dealing with design, but also to the public. As CentrumDesign we organize:
- international and national events for broad public such as Gdynia Design Days, good design practices exhibitions, thematic exhibitions such us “Design for kids”
- competitions for designers such as Young Design, „Dobry Wzór” („Good Design”)
- We undertake initiatives promoting the Polish design such as the online “Polish Designers Lexicon”
